Through a 1% equity commitment dedicated to philanthropic giving, plus a pledge of 1% of employee time, profits, and products, Airwallex Impact aims to empower communities, support innovators, and inspire a culture of giving back.

By taking the 1% Pledge, Airwallex joins a community of global leaders like Atlassian, Canva, Airbnb, and Salesforce, each working to multiply the impact of corporate philanthropy.

The program builds upon our previous philanthropic initiatives, including an AU$3M donation to the University of Melbourne that has funded scholarships to 43 students thus far, and a AU$150,000 donation for financial assistance for an additional 65 students to support non-tuition related costs of attending school.
- Airwallex for Startups, launched in September 2023. A free program that includes mentorship, events, networking, practical resources and exclusive product offers.
- One paid day of volunteer leave per year for employees to volunteer for a charity or cause of their choice.
- Business acceleration grants to support small businesses with growth opportunities.

- AU$3 million partnership with the University of Melbourne over three years
- 43 scholarships awarded (to the value of $1.29M)
- 40% female recipients
- 57% international student recipients
- 35 students have had an Airwallex mentor
- 420 hours of mentoring from Airwallex staff
- 65 students have received once-off financial support to the value of $150,000
- Airwallex has provided more than 300,000 free coffees to students
- 3 hires at Airwallex (including 2 interns and 1 permanent)
