What you’ll do

You will enable our product offering to become enterprise-ready, by building features that allow large and sophisticated companies – sometimes with hundreds of users – to adopt our products efficiently and securely.

As a key member of Airwallex’s Risk team, you will be responsible for our User Access Management and Account Infrastructure products, including key administrative features such as user profiles, customer-facing activity logs, and approval flows.

This position presents a unique opportunity of scaling our customer base, enabling Airwallex to move upmarket.

This role is based in any current Airwallex location across APAC or in San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

  • Control and monitor correct access levels within Airwallex’s digital ecosystem

  • Own account security and protect our users from unauthorised account takeover

  • Design sophisticated features for customer-managed user administration

  • Safeguard sensitive customer data, whilst maintaining compliance, and optimising operational efficiency

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to scale and automate user access management processes at global scale

Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 7+ years of overall professional experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or another STEM discipline, with exemplary academic achievements

  • Backend product development experience in a high-complexity area

  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, and access control technologies

Preferred qualifications:

  • In depth experience with identity and access management, security, or related fields

  • Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and addressing customer pain points

  • Fintech or Financial Services experience

$133K – $228K

Airwallex promotes fair compensation practices in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local law.

These expected base pay ranges are based on information at the time this post was generated and represent the company’s good faith minimum and maximum ranges for this role at the time of posting.

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills and other qualifications, geographic location as noted, internal equity, and other external market factors.

Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation including, but not limited to, annual bonuses, commissions, RSUs, or other forms of compensation in addition to the established salary range.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and work location. US-based employees are eligible to participate in medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability, basic life insurance, and well-being benefits. US-based employees also receive 20 paid days of vacation and 12 paid days of company holidays in a calendar year.
