We’re on the lookout for a talented SEO Manager to scale our SEO efforts, increase high-intent organic traffic and build predictability/repeatability in our approach to reach and engage our target users- cross-border businesses on the Chinese and overseas search engines. This is a unique opportunity to join the CN marketing team to help shape our SEO approach in the Chinese market.

We are bullish about the role of organic as part of our growth model due to its strong fit with scaled SME customer acquisition and critical role in driving product awareness and education. In this role, you’ll champion our Chinese SEO strategy and contribute to broader awareness and acquisition initiatives by establishing fundamental SEO technical practices, creating SEO content and keywords, and driving SEO experiments. This is a cross-functional role that will work closely with global and local Growth Marketing, Content Marketing, and Product teams, in both a strategic and execution capacity.

This role reports to the Product Marketing Director, China and will have a strong focus on leveraging SEO to drive product education and executing go-to-market strategies. The role will be measured against the organic growth of revenue – Airwallex brand and industry keywords ranking in major Chinese/overseas search engines, traffic and conversion growth to Airwallex and sign-up to Airwallex products and services.

Responsibilities

Drive Airwallex’s SEO strategy and execution in China to position the company at the forefront of searchability within the financial services and technology sectors.

Set up technical SEO( e.g. link building) and continuous website optimizations
-
Collaborate with our Content Team to produce prospect/customer-friendly content that supports acquisition and awareness

Analyze, report, measure and own SEO performance metrics and dashboards

Grow organic channel contribution by identifying and executing against high leverage opportunities and taking an iterative approach to experimentation

Act as an SEO evangelist within the business, helping to surface relevant considerations and opportunities with marketing, product, sales and strategy teams

Be willing to take on product education initiatives based on business needs, such as website optimizations, product blog and education content creation.
What you will bring
-
5+ years experience in SEO. Deep understanding of local and/or overseas search engines such as Baidu, Bing, Sogou, 360, Google etc.

Strong analytical skills utilizing tools like but not limited to Google Analytics, Baidu Analytics and Baidu Webmaster Tools, to make data-driven decisions for commercial and operational performance and turn data into insights and actions.

Proven track record of ability to scale a brand’s organic traffic and able to tie SEO efforts to awareness, acquisition and revenue outcomes.

Strong writing capabilities in both Simplified Chinese & English.
