This role is based in Shanghai, Hong Kong or Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  1. Define Airwallex’s products, from strategy and solution design to roadmap and delivery plans

  2. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and commercial teams to ensure that our product can handle increased user adoption, usage, and complexity while maintaining its core value proposition.

  3. Inform product strategy and approach by deeply understanding our user requirements, target markets, and competitive landscape

  4. Iterate quickly on new product launches, feature enhancements, and user feedback

  5. Manage a high performing team of Product Managers

Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum Requirements 

  • Requirement for working experiences: 5 – 10 years

  • Experience in Product Management, go-to-market propositions, product design, product planning and development

  • Experience in building end user experiences on invoicing and subscription or bill pay is strongly preferred

  • Experience taking products from ideation to delivery, ideally at global scale

  • Ability to manage difficult tradeoffs such as long term product vision and short term growth requirements

  • Ability to thrive in data driven, cross functional teams that can move ideas to reality in very short periods of time

  • Flexibility to work across multiple time zones

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey product strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience in any of the following is a plus: hyper growth startup environments, software engineering, financial technology

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.

These expected base pay ranges are based on information at the time this post was generated and represent the company’s good faith minimum and maximum ranges for this role at the time of posting.

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills and other qualifications, geographic location as noted, internal equity, and other external market factors.

Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation including, but not limited to, annual bonuses, commissions, RSUs, or other forms of compensation in addition to the established salary range.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and work location. US-based employees are eligible to participate in medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability, basic life insurance, and well-being benefits. US-based employees also receive 20 paid days of vacation and 12 paid days of company holidays in a calendar year.
