What you’ll do

Airwallex is seeking a creative and versatile Marketing Visual Designer to join our team as a contractor, with the potential for a full-time role. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing experience designing print and digital assets for marketing campaigns. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to develop visually compelling materials that align with our brand and support the Americas marketing campaigns.

This role is remote, based in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the global marketing and visual design team to understand campaign goals and translate them into impactful visual designs.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, field marketing, and content strategy, to produce cohesive marketing collateral.

  • Ensure all designs are optimized for both digital and print platforms, maintaining a high level of consistency and quality across all outputs.

  • Provide creative solutions and design iterations in response to feedback from internal stakeholders.

  • Manage multiple projects with shifting priorities, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Stay current on industry trends, design techniques, and technology to keep Airwallex’s creative assets fresh and competitive.

  • Assist with design testing, feedback, and revisions to improve user engagement and visual effectiveness.

  • Prepare conceptual presentations to communicate design ideas, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and project objectives.

Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of graphic design experience, with strong print and digital expertise, as well as slide deck design.

  • Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Google Slides.

  • Experience designing for multiple platforms, including web, email, social media, and video.

  • Experience in video production (planning, storyboard creation, art direction for shoot and editing).

  • Strong understanding of brand identity and how to apply guidelines across various mediums.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and a creative mindset, with the ability to balance innovation and adherence to brand guidelines.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts clearly to non-designers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B marketing design in the fintech or technology sectors

  • Experience working with global teams and understanding of localized design requirements
    Motion and animation skills in Adobe After Effects

  • Videography and animation experience

$90.00 – $120.00 per hour

Airwallex promotes fair compensation practices in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local law.

These expected base pay ranges are based on information at the time this post was generated and represent the company’s good faith minimum and maximum ranges for this role at the time of posting.

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills and other qualifications, geographic location as noted, internal equity, and other external market factors.

Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation including, but not limited to, annual bonuses, commissions, RSUs, or other forms of compensation in addition to the established salary range.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and work location. US-based employees are eligible to participate in medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability, basic life insurance, and well-being benefits. US-based employees also receive 20 paid days of vacation and 12 paid days of company holidays in a calendar year.
