About the team

Airwallex IT Operations is the first port of call for employees when they need help or have an issue with technology. We’re a friendly and helpful team, happy to greet our new hires on their first day, help employees with technical support, and manage our hardware and fleet of laptops across all of our global offices. We provide services across our service desk, over chat, and face to face and zoom in our core offices.

What you’ll do

You’ll be responsible for the management, maintenance, and enhancement of our finance systems. This person will be primarily focused on Oracle Fusion development, administration and support, as well as administrating and integrating additional Oracle finance products and integrating with other tools including but not limited to Concur, Pigment, various tax systems, and multi vendor payment solutions. This person will also oversee the integration processes between different systems to ensure seamless data flow and reporting capabilities, and provide subject matter expertise representing Airwallex to third-party vendors.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage, administer, and support finance systems including Oracle Fusion ERP, other Oracle finance products, Concur, Pigment, and various tax and payment systems

2. Primary technical support and escalation point-of-contact for Oracle Fusion ERP technical issues within Airwallex

3. Support and drive the configuration efforts of finance systems to meet business requirements, providing strong partnership and consulting to our finance team

4. Oversee and optimize the integration on low-code platform(s) between different finance systems to ensure efficient and accurate data flow and reporting

5. Collaborate with finance and IT departments to identify system requirements, improvements, and customizations

6. Implement system updates, upgrades, and patches in coordination with IT and vendors to ensure the finance systems are up-to-date, secure, and reliable.

7. Provide ‘voice of the customer’ feedback to help drive improvements and constant improvements to our finance systems

8. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing technical support to end-users as needed and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

9. Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and user guides – clear, simple and easy to understand

10. Conduct training sessions for finance and relevant teams to ensure effective use of finance systems.

11. Communicate with many different users and stakeholders across multiple cultures and time zones, in-person, over video conference, and written text.

12. Quickly understand and action financial system needs from different international jurisdictions 

Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

2. Strong written and verbal English communication skills

3. Proven experience managing finance systems such as Oracle Fusion ERP – Procurement and Finance Module, Concur, Pigment, and various tax and payment systems.

4. Proven experience in Oracle Fusion ERP project deployment or consulting engagements

5. Strong understanding of finance and procurement processes and requirements.

6. Experience with complex system integration and data migration projects.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot system issues.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

9. Ability to write excellent and easy to understand written documentation in articles, wikis and internal user guides, for technical and non-technical audiences

10. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

11. Ability to translate complex finance requests into system architecture in standard ways that can be easily understood by others (i.e. code can be reviewed by third-party support vendors or other team members)

These expected base pay ranges are based on information at the time this post was generated and represent the company’s good faith minimum and maximum ranges for this role at the time of posting.

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills and other qualifications, geographic location as noted, internal equity, and other external market factors.

Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation including, but not limited to, annual bonuses, commissions, RSUs, or other forms of compensation in addition to the established salary range.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and work location. US-based employees are eligible to participate in medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability, basic life insurance, and well-being benefits. US-based employees also receive 20 paid days of vacation and 12 paid days of company holidays in a calendar year.
