The Opportunity: Join Our Financial Platform Infra Team
Our Financial Platform Infrastructure Team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development of our high-performance wallet system. This system, crucial to Airwallex’s operations, is designed to handle a peak transaction per second (TPS) of 10,000 with high reliability and availability.
What You’ll Do

Development and Optimization: Design and implement scalable backend systems using Rust and Kotlin, focused on efficiency and robustness.

Distributed Systems: Engage in developing a CQRS system based on the Raft consensus algorithm, ensuring system reliability through distributed computing.

Innovation: Leverage product insights and data-driven strategies to validate and improve system requirements for robust and scalable solutions.

Data Integrity and Security: Enhance data integrity checks and incorporate security best practices to protect sensitive financial data from threats.
Who You Are

Technical Expertise: Proficient in Rust or C++, with a strong foundation in backend software engineering.

Distributed Systems Experience: Demonstrated experience with distributed systems, such as distributed storage and databases. Familiarity with consensus algorithms is a plus.

CQRS and Event Sourcing Knowledge: Experience with CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation) and event sourcing is highly desirable.
