About the team

Airwallex’s Global Treasury and Payments Network (GTPN) team encompasses sending money on behalf of our clients, collection of funds and treasury / cash management for both our customers and our internal operations.

What you’ll do

We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to build delightful user experiences for the collection, transfer, and management of funds. The candidate should be able to distill the complexity of hundreds of currencies, transfer methods, and global accounts into an intuitive web and mobile experience for all customers from small businesses through to sophisticated platform customers. 

This role is based in Singapore, Hong Kong or Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

  • Create more delightful user experiences for customers as they move money with Airwallex

  • Collaborate effectively with Product Design to build beautiful and functional products across Web and Mobile

  • Consolidate data from customer interviews, industry trends, competitive analysis, and user experience research to understand and address pain points

  • Define the strategy and subdomain roadmap for GTPN products, balancing tradeoffs to maximise impact

  • Build a strong partnership with Engineering e.g infrastructure teams and API teams, to build a compatible and consistent experience across the Airwallex platform

Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in product management, go-to-market propositions, product design, product planning and development

  • Exemplary academic achievements (e.g., high GPA, Dean’s list, scholarship, etc.)

  • Experience working on customer/user facing product and driving UX/UI enhancements

  • Strong communication skills with evidence of leading effective, high-bandwidth discussions with senior stakeholders

  • Drive, grit, and persistence to take ownership and move ideas to reality in short periods of time

Preferred qualifications:

  • Business fluency in Mandarin

  • Ability to thrive in cross-cultural and cross-functional teams

  • Solid technical understanding and ability to engage in architectural discussions with engineering teams

  • Hands-on with online payments or similar B2B domains with high conceptual complexity
