What you’ll do

Airwallex is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager, who will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our customers, commercial and product teams. This role is pivotal in delivering consistency and simplicity in our product positioning in the market, in addition to driving success in our product launches and go-to-market. This role will have a focus on our spend management suite of products including expense management, bill pay, accounting integrations and many more products on the roadmap.  

This role is based in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize: Develop a deep understanding of our customers, needs, competitors and Airwallex’s unique edge to develop our value proposition

  • Product Feature Launch: Plan and drive an effective launch strategy / plan across sales, marketing, pricing and operations to bring our value proposition to life for new features and products

  • Position: Define, test and refine our global product positioning, messaging and value proposition in collaboration with product, sales and marketing teams

  • Build: Deliver a compelling, end-to-end customer experience across our touch points alongside sales, marketing and operations – across our website, emails, content, decks and more

  • Analyze: Leverage qualitative and quantitative insights across channels, customers and product to test hypothesis and make data-backed decisions

  • Influence: Work cross-functionally across our global and regional strategy, product, sales and marketing teams to drive global impact

Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with part of that in a product marketing or product strategy function at a fast growing tech company

  • Strong written and spoken communication skills – you’re able to articulate complex concepts in a simple way

  • Self-starter that can identify and prioritize opportunities to focus on – You are willing to roll up sleeves and go deep into the assigned problem

  • Track record of collaborating and driving impact across cross-functional teams – You can effectively partner with sales, operations, design, marketing, product and data analytics

  • Experience using analytical tools such as Excel, Looker, Google Analytics or others

  • Technology, financial services and experience in a high growth environment is good to have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred qualifications:

  • FinTech or Payments experience

  • Familiarity with startup environments

  • Global marketing experience

These expected base pay ranges are based on information at the time this post was generated and represent the company’s good faith minimum and maximum ranges for this role at the time of posting.

The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills and other qualifications, geographic location as noted, internal equity, and other external market factors.

Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation including, but not limited to, annual bonuses, commissions, RSUs, or other forms of compensation in addition to the established salary range.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and work location. US-based employees are eligible to participate in medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability, basic life insurance, and well-being benefits. US-based employees also receive 20 paid days of vacation and 12 paid days of company holidays in a calendar year.
