At Airwallex, you’ll get unparalleled opportunities to kickstart your career and contribute to shaping the future of global finance on one platform. You will work with top global engineering team, applying best practices in software engineering with a strong emphasis on engineering fundamentals and pragmatism shared by all our engineers.

This role is based in Singapore.

  • Enjoy solving complex problems by designing systems that are elegant abstractions over complex patterns/practices, especially in the financial industry.

  • Write clean, high-quality code and think critically about how systems and services interact. While we primarily use Kotlin, we value your problem-solving ability and engineering mindset over specific language expertise.

  • Hold yourself and others to high standards when working with production systems, ensuring adherence to best practices in engineering, security, and design.

  • Thrive in collaboration, working with different stakeholders and subject matter experts. Engineers at Airwallex collaborate with teams across the company, from Sales and Support in sharing feedback from our customers, to Legal and Accounting in supporting our systems for tracking money movement and reporting around the world.
