The Procurement team leads the development of innovative features that simplify and optimise the procurement process for our customers. From vendor selection and supplier onboarding to contract management, purchase requisitions, and invoice processing, we build tools that ensure efficiency, transparency, and scalability across all procurement operations.
What you’ll do
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly web interfaces that enhance the usability and functionality of our procurement offerings. This role requires expertise in front-end technologies, a strong focus on user experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Our team is breaking new engineering ground and we have the opportunity to define innovative solutions for a number of challenges, paving the way for other teams to follow in our footsteps.
This role will require a relocation to Melbourne.
Responsibilities:

Delivering complex frontend features with React and TypeScript, including requirements breakdown, time estimation, and active participation in team planning and discussions.

Build micro Frontend web applications with domain-based design architecture.

Work closely with product managers and key stakeholders to define product roadmap, prioritise projects and ship incrementally to production.

Leverage Apollo GraphQL as the backend for frontend (BFF) to build scalable and high-performance node services with simple and contact-based integration with backend.

Cooperate with the design team to build a design system with common components.

Actively engage with our Frontend Guild, research cutting edge technologies, and drive initiatives to build high-quality products and clean up technical debt.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for operational excellence and a delightful user experience
Who you are
We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor degree or above in computer science or engineering related majors.

Mastery of modern frontend web technologies.

Have a strong customer oriented mindset with a track record of product thinking.

Have a strong aptitude for system thinking, writing high-quality code and documentation.

Have a demonstrated history of using a wide range of appropriate testing practices.

Enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of individuals, bridging gaps between different teams and areas of expertise.
Preferred qualifications:

Expertise in the Typescript and React ecosystem.

Experience with building micro-frontends and designing modular, scalable frontend architectures using domain-based design to support product growth and complexity.

An interest in the financial domain.

Experience with Cypress/Playwright, React-Testing-Library, GraphQL (Apollo client)

Kotlin, Shell development experience.

Familiarity with payment processing, cards, issuing, or similar fintech products, with an understanding of the domain’s technical and business needs.
