  • Manage a wide variety of complex commercial deals originating in The EMEA region, many with significant cross-border elements; draft and negotiate outbound SaaS commercial agreements, complex technology contracts, and key vendor agreements

  • Build a strong, collaborative working relationship with our expanding sales teams and leaders in order to close deals efficiently; help our sales teams scale by working with them to improve legal processes, playbooks, and templates on a continuous basis

  • Work closely and effectively with Airwallex’s global legal, compliance, and risk teams on deals and projects that involve multiple jurisdictions

  • Handle a variety of other projects and requests as the need arises

  • Make positive contributions to the culture of the Airwallex legal team, EMEA leadership team, and the company as a whole

What You Bring…

  • Experience at a fintech or high-growth and/or globally distributed company is a significant plus

  • Excellent communication, drafting, negotiation, and writing skills

  • The ability to explain complex legal concepts to various (often non-legal) audiences, and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and deals

  • High motivation and the ability to operate independently and pivot quickly within a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

  • A learner’s mentality: you are consistently looking to take on new and diverse challenges and expand your knowledge beyond your current areas of expertise
