About the team
The SME & Growth Business team at Airwallex is a passionate group of collaborators and business champions dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the global economy. We combine deep financial expertise with a growth mindset, working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams. What you’ll do
This is a unique opportunity to drive the future growth of Airwallex in Taiwan-focus segments as an experienced sales, SME & Growth. You will have the chance to work with a core expansion team to define our Taiwan-focus customers and tailor our solutions to meet their unique needs. We are in the early stages of laying the foundation to establish Airwallex as a key player in the region.
In this role, your primary focus will be bringing on Taiwan-focus customers, you get to actively sell directly to customers or through channels and partners.This is a new venture shaping our critical 0-to-1 journey, you must possess 200% craftsmanship. This role is currently based in Hong Kong, with travel requirements to Taiwan
Responsibilities:

Target strategic business opportunities for Airwallex, be accountable for increasing revenue via customer and partner acquisition.

Own the full sales cycle and territory management from prospecting to closing.

Ensure the best customer experience and onboarding process for new customers, and own the initial customer ramp-up period.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners in the SME ecosystem.

Provide product feedback based on client interactions to enhance our offerings

Represent Airwallex at industry events and networking functions.

Maintain a database of current and potential customers using our CRM.
Who you are
We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:

3+ years of sales or business development experience, with a track record of multi-year top performance. Experience in partnerships is a bonus.

Existing relationships / strong network with Taiwan-focus cross-border customers (e-commerce, trading, technology, wholesale etc.) and/or referral partners are highly preferred.

Success-oriented, enjoy ‘getting things done’ and hold yourself accountable for delivering tangible outcomes

Work collaboratively with people at all levels and across functions and cultures

Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

You consistently “go the extra mile” in your work and are willing to do what needs to be done to achieve results.

Superior verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English
