About the team
The Strategy & Operations team at Airwallex plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s overall growth and efficiency. We are a collaborative group of analysts, strategists, and operational experts who are passionate about translating vision into action. We leverage data insights, sharp problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of the business to optimize processes, identify growth opportunities, and ensure Airwallex operates efficiently and effectively at scale.
What you’ll do
As a Senior Manager in the Global Revenue Strategy team, you will be reporting directly to the Director, Global Revenue Strategy and working on initiatives of strategic importance to the business.
This role is based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed data fact-based analyses, and develop long-term business strategies

Develop robust business understanding and apply a strong value lens to develop actionable recommendations

Project manage and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive key initiatives and roadmap delivery
-
Take initiatives, anticipate, identify and resolve inefficiencies and roadblocks
-
Manage tradeoffs and ensure timely delivery of projects
Revenue Strategy:
-
Distill top line performance to support the achievement of OKRs and empower the commercial decision making of the global and regional leadership teams
-
Generate insights on our commercial success through analyses of key underlying drivers and other barometers of business performance

Drive more accurate business wide topline forecasting amid its hypergrowth
-
Implement new management and investor reporting that align with global best practices
-
Present results to the leadership team including the Chief Revenue Officer with the opportunity to present to the CEO

Work with a high calibre team with extensive management consulting and investment banking experience in a highly collegial and supportive environment

Work with cross functional teams including regional Commercial, Strategy, Sales, Marketing and Corporate teams to ensure efficient delivery of firm wide initiatives
Customer LTV and Cost Optimization:

Define and execute strategic global initiatives to drive customer lifetime value (e.g. customer acquisition, activation, cross-sell/up-sell, retention)

Identify opportunities and define initiatives to optimize financial, strategic partnership costs and other cost heads

Collaborate with Financial and Strategic Partnerships teams to execute identified initiatives
Who you are
We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
-
7-8 years of experience across management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development. Candidates with less experience may be considered for Manager level.

Experience working at a regional or global level would be highly beneficial
-
Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields from a top tier university
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands on experience of working data analytic tools and methodologies

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
-
Quick learner, meticulous, ability to work with and manage a wide range of stakeholder
-
Ability to be flexible in a fast-moving environment with limited direction, balance engaging priorities, and manage several time-sensitive projects at once
Preferred qualifications:

MBA from a top-tier university

Experience leading analytical projects and a strong spreadsheet modeler

Experience in Financial technology, payments and/or a high-growth environment a plus

Experience with SQL, Looker/Tableau or a willingness/aptitude to learn

Experience in leading pricing, monetization strategy projects

Proven ability to engage and influence C-level executives and stakeholders in a matrixed organization

Proven ability to work cross-functionally by building relationships and influencing others
