About the team

What you’ll do

This role sits within Airwallex’s Risk team and is responsible for User Access Management and Account Infrastructure, ensuring a seamless and secure access experiences for our global customer base. 

This role is based in Singapore or Shanghai or Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

  • Control and monitor correct access levels within Airwallex’s digital ecosystem

  • Own account security and protect our users from unauthorised account takeover

  • Safeguard sensitive customer data, whist maintaining compliance, and optimising operational efficiency

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to scale and automate user access management processes at global scale

Who you are

We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:

  • 7+ years of overall professional experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or another STEM discipline, with exemplary academic achievements

  • Backend product development experience in a high-complexity area

  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, and access control technologies

     

Preferred qualifications:

  • In depth experience with identity and access management, security, or related fields

  • Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and addressing customer pain points

  • Fintech or Financial Services experience
